Rooted in Grace (what we believe)…
We believe that everything around us was created by God and is good, yet his creation, men and women, turned away from God by choosing to go their own way. We sinned. The relationship with God was disrupted, marred and broken.
In God's perfect time He sent His son Jesus the Savior who showed us how to live, who died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose from the dead never to die again. His death and resurrection give eternal life to all who believe in His name.
Sowing Seeds of Hope (what we do)…
We are a young church that is committed to following Jesus as our leader and trusting him as our Savior. We are an army carrying out The Lord’s Great Commission of going and telling others what He did for us on the cross. We are not about organized religion or being members of a church, but rather see ourselves as missionaries on a mission of sharing with others how to live eternally.
We Are Not Your "Typical" Church...
Are you tired of "organized" religion? Tired of feeling like you don't fit in at church? We welcome you to visit for relevant worship, where it's not about rituals, or what you wear. It's about JESUS!
So come as you are- grab a coffee- and grow with us!
At The Plant, we believe in the historic Christian faith as stated in these early Christian creeds, the Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, and Anthanasian Creed.
The Plant is currently worshiping at the Brunswick Recreation Center in Brunswick, Ohio.

In September 2004 Dwight Seletzky, a son of Royal Redeemer who had spent 12 years in planting new churches in Europe, became part of a team for a new mission plant. Mother’s Day 2005 marked the first worship service of the little flock that began as a daughter congregation of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Royalton. The church was actually “conceived” as part of a church-planting strategy call 20/20 Vision…a vision for seeing 20 new churches planted by 2020.
The Plant was first known as Royal Redeemer’s “southern satellite,” targeted to “land” in SW Strongsville. By November 2005 they moved into their first home at Skyview Lodge in Brunswick. By 2007 The Plant put down roots in its current home at the Brunswick Rec Center. On March 8, 2009 Pastor John (Dawson) was officially installed as the first Lutheran ordained pastor of The Plant Church to lead us in the mission of “claiming Cleveland for Christ”.
